Souper Bowl
With the Big Game coming this weekend, it seems appropriate to talk about what's really important--FOOD--not who you are rooting for but what you will be eating during the party. After a long month of sticking to your resolutions to make wise food choices, do you opt for healthy food or bring out the junk food for the day?
We love the idea of hosting a "Souper Bowl" party! Gather your friends and family, watch the game, and enjoy an assortment of homemade soups & chili. One of my favorite things about winter (and there aren't many!) is warming up to a good bowl of chili on a cold day.
Do you have a special soup recipe that's your go-to during the cold weather? Here are a couple of our favorites if you're looking for a little something different for your Sunday Souper Bowl Party:
Michelle's Chili
2 lbs Hamburger
1 Small Onion, Chopped
2 Cans Chili Beans
1 Can Tomato Paste
4 T Chili Powder
In a large dutch over, brown hamburger with onion, drain well. Add other ingredients. Fill both of the empty chili bean cans with water and add to pot. Stir well. Bring to boil then reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 1 hour or more.

“Can I simply just say what a relief to discover someone who actually understands what they are talking about on the web. You definitely realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important. More people should check this out and understand this side of your story. I was surprised you aren’t more popular since you certainly possess the gift.”
