Ready for Restoration

Even as we continue to focus on change and resetting in January, I still find myself get the winter blahs. I don't know if it's the lack of sunshine or cold weather, but I always need a pick-me-up by the end of the month. I get cabin fever and want to make lots of changes. (Not my husband's favorite time of the year!) Since I've already cleaned out closets, organized drawers and cabinets, and donated bags of clothes, I'm wanting a new project!

If you're like me, you want changes but don't always have the budget in the new year. Here's a fun fact: restoring things can make a big difference in your home and not have to hurt your pocketbook.

Perhaps you have a piece of furniture that's perfect for your space but you're just not in love with it anymore. Now's a great time to pick up some chalk paint and work on that project. Chalk paint ranges from $8-$28, so it's definitely a doable project for your budget.
