Looking Forward to Easter
I love this time of year! All the flowers are popping up, everything is beginning to come back to life, and people all around the world are beginning to look forward to Easter.
We've seen your excitement for Spring at the store over the last few weeks with the number of tulips and wreaths flying out the door. I think Saturday could have been renamed "Bunny Day" with all the sweet little bunnies you took home.
With March quickly approaching, I can't help but think of a Spring refresh not only in my house but also in my daily study. This time of year, I usually try to find a Bible readying plan to help my mind focus on Easter. In the past I have enjoyed some great reads like "The 40-Day Sugar Fast" by Wendy Speake, "The Good of Giving Up" by Aaron Damiani, and "The Weeping Chamber by Sigmund Brouwer." (I've read the last one 4 times!)
This year, Rachel and I invite you to join us as we use a reading plan from The Bible App. The plan starts on Wednesday, February 26 and continues through Easter, April 12. You can use the app or login online. It will give you the daily reading and if you like, leave comments below to share your thoughts with us. Here's a link to the plan:
We hope as the outdoors become greener, trees bloom, and flowers pop up that you will see the hope in Spring. By enjoying the little things and finding something to celebrate every day, may you see glimpses of Easter in your life.
Blessings to you!
Joy
